1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as browser storage or pixels, work in a similar way: on this page we call them all "cookies".
First-party cookies are set by our website; third-party cookies by external services. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, persistent ones remain until they expire.
2. Which categories of cookies we use
- Necessary: needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in the banner.
- Statistics: help us understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used (most viewed pages, traffic sources, devices). We only use them if you consent.
- Marketing: we do not use any today. If we switch on advertising tools in the future (for example the Meta Pixel), we will only install them with your consent and will update this page.
3. List of cookies
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CookieConsent | Cookiebot (our domain) | Necessary | Stores your cookie choices | 12 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics (our domain) | Statistics | Distinguishes visitors for statistical purposes | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_[ID] | Google Analytics (our domain) | Statistics | Keeps track of the visit session | Up to 2 years |
The website also uses Google Tag Manager, a tool that manages the loading of other tools (such as Google Analytics). Tag Manager itself does not set cookies and, through the banner, only activates analytics tools after you consent.
The full, always up-to-date list, generated automatically by scanning the website, is shown below.
[Cookiebot automatic cookie declaration will be inserted here]
4. How consent works
- On your first visit we show you a banner where you can accept all cookies, decline them or choose by category. Accepting and declining are given equal prominence.
- Until you choose, only necessary cookies are active. Closing the banner counts as declining. Scrolling the page does not count as consent.
- We use Google Consent Mode v2: if you decline, Google Analytics does not set cookies on your device.
- Your choice is remembered for 12 months; when it expires, or if we change the cookies we use, we ask for your consent again.
- You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
5. Third-party services and their policies
| Service | Provider | Policy and options |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics | Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC | Privacy policy · How Google uses data from partners' sites · Google Analytics opt-out add-on |
| Cookiebot (consent management) | Usercentrics A/S | Privacy policy |
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers, such as Google, may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See our privacy policy for details.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Security (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). If you block all cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.
8. Links to other websites
The website links to our clients' websites. If you open them, their own cookie policies apply, and we have no control over them.
9. Controller and contact
The data controller is CityPixel LLC, [registered address, Wyoming, USA]. For any question, write to info@[dominio-citypixel].
10. Changes to this page
We update this page whenever the cookies or tools we use change. The version in force and the date are shown at the top.
